HOW DO I USE HELP?

How do I use Help?

Each page of the Electronic Labour Exchange has the same look.

At the top left is the Electronic Labour Exchange Logo. On the same line are three buttons: HELP, PREVIOUS PAGE, and EXIT.

Below is the title of the page, which liets you know where you are in the system.

Along the right hand side of the page, there is a sidebar with an arrow at the top and bottom. Touch or click on these arrows to move the text up and down. If there is no additional text at the bottom of the screen, the arrows will not work.

In the center of each page, you select buttons or type information, which allow you to perform actions to use the Electronic Labour Exchange.

The HELP button

On most of the Electronic Labour Exchange pages you will see a HELP button. Help is attached to the page on which you are currently working. For example, if you have difficulty selecting a job title, and you select the HELP button, it will give you tips on how to find the right job title.

How to use Hypertext

You can also jump to other Help topics by using hypertext. Hypertext are words highlighted in blue. When you select a word in blue, it brings you directly to the topic related to that word.
